I'm so excited....and I just cant hide it!!

WOW-WEE I submitted work to http://www.scrapbooking4less.com.au/ during the search for new DT members and the competition was fierce!! But im totally stoked to say i was one of the girls selected and i am now a really proud member of the S4L DT....very cool! So thanks to shelley for giving me this opportunity, congrats to the others selected. All the work was just stunning im sure shelley had an extremely difficult job making her decision.

This is some of my work that went to make up my application- cards, LOs and OTP

The 'serenity' LO is one i did for the S4L scraplift a DT memeber. I lifted Toni's {scrapdragon} work and this design was from a card she made.

Hi all

Well just thought i would jump on and post...yes i have been rather slack haven't i?? Well in October i was lucky enough to have a Guest DT position over at http://scrapbooking4less.com.au/ and as part of that i was sent a DT pack and got to create a layout here it is .

I also made a card from the pack as well with some left overs.

Then they have the DT challenge, where everyone on the forum can add to the list of things in the challenge and it was quite BIG!!! The challenge was:

1. Girl themed
2. No flowers

3. No pink

4. OTP

5. Metal

6. Cardstock

7. Felt

8. Alphas

9. Chipboard

10. Paint

11. buttons

12. Ribbon

13. Random alpha’s for title

14. Photo of yourself

15. Orange

16. Fabric

and here is what i came up with...a Dream/Goal Keeper

Then i went and opened my big mouth about getting it finished before the end of Oct so they set me another one!!!

The second challenge was

1. Orange and blue colour scheme

2. Flowers

3. No buttons or bling

4. At least three photos

5. Use chalk or coloured pencils

So things have been rather busy over at scrapbooking4less. There was also Toni's holiday challenge...on of the DT who went away, and she left us homework!! lol I managed to get 3 of the challenges done.....

challenges included a photo sequence layout {'sunset} a scraplift of a layout in the S4L gallery {'Yum' - scraplifted from Toni's work} and also a no pic layout {'I will never forget'}

So that is about it from me for now. I also did ATC's and yes i am still to upload pics of any of them...how slack!! Just think what a surprise it will be when i finally get around to it!

Feeling Sad

Hi,

Warning, sad post ahead!

Well Im just feeling a bit sad. On 7th October 2008 one of my best friends passed away. Our wonderful, amazing and beloved dog JUDGE who was 14yrs had to be put down. It was such a terrible decision to have to make, but the vet tells us it was the best decision for Judge. I am still so very sad without him and i miss him every day. I keep expecting him to be there when i get home, or come and sit with me while i hang up the washing, and give me a cuddle and 'talk' to me when i tuck him into bed at night. I just miss him so much and wish with all my heart that he was still here.

Hi! Just sharing some recent creations

Hi,

Well i know my posts have been quite rare recently but wow ive been busy, Im loving being a Tupperware Manager so being busy is just part of the ride!! But unfortunately scrapping had to be put on the back burner...probably why im feeling a little nutty lately, im sure scrapping keeps me sane!! But never fear, cos i am going down to sarah's this week to S-C-R-A-P!!!!! Yahoo!!

Well here is a layout from S4L blind scrapping challenges {about 2 weeks ago now} These pics were taken when Troy and his Prep class went on a day trip to a farm...as you can imagine, he had a great time!



This layout was completed on the weekend, S4L http://scrapbooking4less.com.au had a cybercrop and it was great to do some scrapping again! This layout had to be majority green with flowers - as the cyber crop had a SPRING theme.
I love these pics of Tanay, her beautiful self really shows through.

And finally, i made this card during the S4L Spring Cybercrop. This was for an OTP challenge with a spring theme.

LOOK OUT....I scrapped!!

Hooray for me, i actually scrapped!!! YAY!!!
In the past couple of weeks i have made some ATC for the swap on http://www.scrapbooking4less.com.au/ {Yes i keep forgetting to take pics dont i?? OOps}
I made some felt flowers for a swap on http://www.scrapbooking4less.com.au/ {ok i forgot to take pics of these too...but when that pic is uploaded on the forum i will get a pic on here too}
and I actually made a LO yet again over athttp://www.scrapbooking4less.com.au/ {im picking a trend here LOL} this is the layout and it was for a chinese whispers challenge
I just love this pic of Tanay, too cute...yes i am just a little bit bias but hey, thats my job!!

And in non-scrapping news....WOOHOO This week is my first week as a new Tupperware Manager!!! Pretty exciting hey...now to get cracking on earning that wonderful Tupperware 4x4!!! Bring it on Baby!!

Busy Busy Busy!!

Hi,

Well August is just hectic in our house...so that equals NO scrapping!! ARRGHH!!! I am in a couple of swaps so i will have to get busy to complete them on time but other than that i think i have done only 1 lonely layout! Unbelieveably sad isnt it LOL
So there isnt much of August left but there is still lots to happen...23rd our 6th wedding anniversary {which we celebrate in a big way in our house, lots of pressies for everyone!} also on the 23rd is troys school fete, so he is totally 'pumped' about that, Im also hoping to 'promote out' as a Tupperware Manager so will be busy with parties {still a few more spaces left if you would love a party, lots of freebies for the host and heaps of fun!!} Then i think that will just about wrap up August *phew* then maybe september will bring so spare time....scrapping time!!! :)

Update

Hi!

Well my update is a little bit sad....well for me anyway....I decided to step down from the DT over at http://addicted2scrapping.com/mb/ . I'm not going to really go into the reasons why but it just felt like the right decision to make :( I will certainly miss not being a part of a DT even tho my time as a DT member hasnt been very long, it still felt nice to be a part of a creative team. I do still have a month guest DT spot over at http://scrapbooking4less.com.au/ and that is coming up in October.
There hasnt been a great deal of scrapping going on here currently, i did complete my project for the We Challenge You blog {which has now been shut} so when i get a spare minute i will upload some pics of that. I was doing OTP and i made a mini book with an about me theme. It was a great challenge because i wouldnt normally scrap about me but it was fun :) So next time im here i will post a pic...promise!
